Register Your ONE PPF Installation

Every ONE PPF installation should be registered. Registering creates the installation and traceability record that links the vehicle to the film used, the roll or batch it came from, and the ONE PPF order that supplied it.

That record is what lets us verify a claim quickly and settle it with fewer questions asked of the customer. When an installation is registered, we can check it against our own inventory and order history and go straight to assessing the film.

Registering is not a condition of warranty coverage. Coverage is determined under the ONE PPF Limited Warranty on the evidence available. A claim is not denied, reduced or delayed because an installation was not registered, because a registration is incomplete, or because of anything to do with the installer's standing in the ONE PPF dealer program.

Registering is the responsibility of the Authorized Dealer or installer who performed the installation. The form is open to vehicle owners as well.

What the record captures

  • Vehicle year, make, model and VIN
  • Installation date
  • Areas covered
  • Film type
  • Film roll or batch identification
  • Installing dealer and installer
  • Customer contact details
  • The ONE PPF order or invoice the film came from, and the distributor or supplying installer where one was involved

Some of these are known only to the installing dealer. The roll or batch identification comes from the dealer's own stock records, not from the vehicle, which is one reason registration belongs with the installer.

If an installation was not registered

Tell us anyway. Registration is how a claim is verified, not how coverage begins.

Where a registration is missing or incomplete, we ask for what the record would otherwise have given us, which may include proof of purchase, the installation date, the film used, and photographs of the vehicle. A claim is assessed on the evidence available.

For Authorized Dealers

Registering every installation you perform is required under the ONE PPF dealer program. Register within 14 days of the installation date.

This obligation is yours, and it is separate from your customer's warranty. Nothing about your registration record changes what your customer is covered for.

Record what you can support from your own records. If you cannot identify the roll or batch, use the roll not listed option. That is a complete and correct answer, it does not count against you, and it is what we would rather have. A recorded guess is worse than a recorded gap, because we would rely on it.
