Why ONE PPF
ONE PPF was built from lived installation experience, fewer steps, fewer chemicals, one install behavior across every film. Here's what that looks like on the bench.
One
Every other brand requires adhesive promoter on every install. ONE PPF doesn't.
- ✓Distilled water only, saves time and material cost on every vehicle.
- ✓No chemical fumes in the bay. No promoter bottles in inventory.
- ✓One less step to standardize, and one less way for a new installer to miss.
Two
Master One, you've mastered them all.
All four clear films, Ultimate HydroGloss, HydroGloss, HydroSatin, and HydroMatte, share identical adhesive behavior. Consistent stretch, repositioning, and edge sealing across the lineup. Color PPF installs with the same feel. Your team learns the system once.
Ultimate HydroGloss
Our flagship clear gloss and the highest-clarity finish in the Hydro family. The deep wet-look for a showpiece or a daily you care about.
HydroGloss
The everyday clear gloss. High-clarity paint protection that disappears on the panel, dialed for the volume work.
HydroSatin
A true satin. A real semi-gloss that sits in the middle for a factory-satin or custom-satin look.
HydroMatte
Flat, low-glare matte for a stealth or factory-matte build. Matte finish, none of the chalky haze.
Four finishes, one install. Gloss, satin, or matte, the film goes down the same way, same slip, same tack, same edge seal, so you learn the install once and run the whole family. No per-product retraining, no new chemistry per finish.
Three · Lineup Depth
ONE PPF ships every transparent finish: Gloss, Satin, Matte. Same wet-install technique. Same self-healing topcoat (activated by heat or sun). One muscle memory across the whole family.
HydroSatin sits in the middle as a true semi-gloss satin with an OEM-grade sheen, the middle finish shops ask for.

The Installation System.
Three steps. Three recipes. No alcohol, no promoter, and you can steam to reposition anytime.
SLIP
Distilled water + one approved lubricant per 32 oz (J&J Baby Shampoo 0.5 ml, Film-On 2.5 ml, APE Applepotion 5 ml, or Seventh Generation Free & Clear 2.5 ml)
Wet the panel and the adhesive and the film floats. Slide it, square it to your reference line, walk it into a body line without fighting it. The slip mix is the same on every ONE PPF film, clear or color, so the float you learn on a hood carries straight to a color wrap. No relearning the slide per product.
TACK
Warm distilled water only + moderate pressure
Squeegee the slip out with warm distilled water and moderate pressure and the adhesive takes hold. No alcohol activation, no adhesive promoter, no extra chemistry step. The tack builds the same way on every film in the line, so you read one grab-and-hold, not four. What you feel on HydroGloss is what you feel on HydroMatte.
SEAL
Post-heat all edges with heat gun after sealing
Post-heat the edges after you seal and they cure down clean and stay put, into recesses, around emblems, along tight body lines. Need to reset a section? Steam brings it back repositionable without lifting the rest. Edge behavior is identical across the lineup, so your wrap-and-seal habits transfer product to product.
Five
5+ years of global durability testing.
ONE PPF went through full-condition testing across the United States and Australia before a single roll shipped. Heat, UV, humidity, and abrasion, across climates most brands never test against.
Built from real-world installation experience, not lab theory.
